I've always been very into journalism, as demonstrated by my actions while The Wave was going around the school. I like journalism almost as much as I HATE pranks and people goofing off on the job. When I graduate, I want to work as a writer for the New York Times.
I also love the smell of fresh paper, and ciggarette smoke.

Laurie Saunders
Laurie Saunders is a student at the high school where The Wave starts. After a short time in the wave, she becomes suspicious of it. She works in the school newspaper so she posts negative articles about The Wave until someone puts threatening grafiti on the door of her office. She and her boyfriend eventually persuade Ben Ross to stop the wave.
